I read reports on the internet that people recommend [[FireWire]] interfaces with "TI-Chipset". I use the [[EX6450 EX-6450]] wit TI-chip for the FCA1616. The chip implements the __full__ IEEE 1394a-2000 standard. Thats may be the reason why some people complain.
